Tuesday 7:50 AM European markets are at session highs, bouncing from an ugly few weeks of trade. Stoxx 50 +1.3%, led by Italy +2.6%. Germany +1%, Spain +1.1%. S&P futures turn back to green, +0.3%. Interestingly, the euro is lower by 0.5%. Could the break in correlation suggest easier monetary policy is about to come to the continent?

- Monday 12:10 PM Asset managers unloaded euros at the fastest pace since November, says UBS, noting its clients were especially keen to sell the euro/Swiss franc cross. The CHF 1.20 level held, but the bank expects a Greek exit to "provide a stern test" for the SNB. [Global & FX]
- Friday 8:26 AM The ECB is playing a game of chicken - sitting on its hands to play tough with the Club Med states - but (along with the other major central banks) will "step in massively," says HSBC's David Bloom, and set off a powerful rally. Bob Janjuah agrees - "The Fed and the ECB will respond (soon) and trigger a short, sharp rally." [Global & FX]
